Ok, so I love the colours in my naked 3 pallette, its beautiful, the rose gold theme to it is unique and gives the perfect girly look, thats excatly why i used it in my tutorial! This pallette sums up valentines day...

starting youtube.. my first video

For 2014 I wanted to challenge myself and put myself out there to people, I pulled off enough courage to make a video and actually POST IT.

Obsessed with watching makeup/fashion tutorials, hauls and collections, I started to get inspired and wanted badly to help people and show people my love for beauty items and fashion.

review and thoughts- Desio contact lenses

Sorry for the neglect but I've been having a few deadlines at uni, but am back and i want to share with you my thoughts on my new contact lenses from Desio.

ok so you have never heard of Desio before? let me tell you they are known to be the rolls royce of contact lenses made in italy, they have created a line of beautiful coloured contact lenses for BOTH men and women. they can be both non prescription and prescription and are specifically made for people with dark eyes. I purchased the colour 'Forest green' because I have always wanted to see whether that colour would suit me. They cost about thirty nine euros which is approximately thirty three pounds fifty. 

 The positives:

 Ok so it came in a rose gold box packaging, neatly presented. with a booklet of all the colours they have. I felt like the contact lenses were more comfortable then ones that i have tried in the past, when wearing it for 8 hours I felt like my eyes were not itchy in the slightest. I didn't have any blurred vision when wearing it and the colour was phenomenal, a beautiful rich deep green colour. shipping and delivery is free also. 

Negatives:

So it doesn't come with a contact lenses case, you have to buy it from elsewhere because they don't even sell it on their website. They also don't sell contact lense solution, which is also disappointing. Delivery takes about 2-3 weeks which you can't really complain about because it is free.

All in all am happy with these contact lenses and I would like to purchase "dessert dream" next. They are worth the money and i love the beautiful deep green colour.

Boxing day sales and a few things I picked up!

OK soooo I went a bit crazy with the sales that are going on at the moment, I've brought a couple of items that i want to share with you! I brought both fashion and beauty items, let me know what you think.

 So lets get started..

 I went into newlook and brought this jumper, it might not be to everyones taste but I liked that it was funky and out there and with it being only eight pounds, I couldn't turn it away, I think this jumper is like marmite you either love it or you hate it. I purchased it in a large, so it can be extra snugly and oversized lol.

Am not a size large, just wanted it to be baggy and oversized

I would wear this type of jumper to uni on a lazy, can't be bothered kind of day, with a pair of jeans and my white converses.

I also brought this jacket from newlook in the sale, it came down from 34.99 to 19 pounds, its a dark red textured leather-look sleeve waterfall jacket. I would proberly wear it with my black jersey dress and my zara pointed toe heels for an evening look. It can also be dressed down by wearing some high waisted jeans, a white crop top and some converses. 

Speaking of my pointed toed heels from zara, I also got them in the sale, it was the last pair and it was my size! I was so happy because I was eyeing them up online but it said it was sold out. They were £19.99 reduced from 29.99.

I also brought a top from H&M, its a jersey top with a sweet heart neckline, the top bit is sheer with polka dots. It is one of those tops that has a sexy feel to it. 

On to the beauty section, I needed a new mascara, and I wanted to try something new so I brought the max factor false lash effect fusion volume and length and oh my god this mascara is the one! It gave my eyelashes excatly what they stated on the tube! it made my eyelashes look so long, but not spidery, hands down this is my favourite mascara so far! I also brought a new lipstick from max factor in the colour 825 pink brandy, its a beautiful light pink colour, which is moisturising too as well as being really opaque when put on the lips. Not only that in boots when I purchased the mascara and lipstick they gave a free gift set and claimed it was 30 pounds worth of products, this included a false lash effect waterproof mascara, a nail varnish in the colour cobalt blue and a lip finity in the colour 340 essential natural. They are all limited edition products and i have already fallen in love with the lip finity and the nail varnish! Its absolutely beautiful and am not to sure if the deal is still on but head down to boots, and find out, its so worth it!

On to the higher end cosmetics that I purchased this month, and funny enough they are all from mac, I brought two more lipsticks and they are vegas volt and velvet teddy. Vegas Volt is one of the amplified mac lipsticks and its a beautiful coral colour, that will be beautiful to wear in the summer because of how bright it is, its really moisturising on the lips and i love the finish it gives. Velvet teddy on the other hand has a matte finish and its the perfect warm nude, not one of those nudes that look like concealer lips, it has a bit of colour to it, and I personally think that it will suit women of colour or people who have a natural tan.

Lastly I brought myself a new perfume called Versace Bright crystal. its a very sweet young smell, the packaging is beautiful, I love it, the only downfall is that the smell doesn't last that long and you have to keep re-applying.

What I brought this month! Fashion & Beauty haul

Sooo I got a new camera!! My head is about to explode with excitement as am sharing this news with you, I brought it from Curry's and its the canon EOS 600d SLR. Hopefully it will give me beautiful detailed images.

Look how sexy it is, while its chilling next to me on my bed, here are some recent items I brought, starting with a sleeveless jacket from Zara:

 Not only is the wrap around collar super warm but it gives the jacket a bit of drama, could be dressed up with some high waisted 'joni' jeans from Topshop and just a tucked in long sleeve plain white top. Match it with some converses and add some accessories and your good to go. Or wear a long sleeve jersey dress in any colour you prefer underneath and some knee high boots for an evening glamourous diva look! 

As soon as i saw these boots my heart dropped, they are everything and more haha they instantly add glamour and with the right outfit it can bring a fashionista twist to your image, you can purchase these from Newlook and its the kelly brook range. Surprisingly these are very comfortable and thats coming from someone who is hopeless when it comes to wearing heels. they are also easy to walk in which is always a plus! 

I also brought this lace, blue mini skirt, I saw a similiar one in river island and when I saw it for cheaper in primark, I couldn't say no!

I teamed up this skirt with a black jersey long sleeve top and this gorgeous scarf that caught my eye from a beauty supply store called beauty queens in Bristol, the golds and blues look so beautiful together, I had to buy it. 

Not only have a been buying clothes this months but i brought myself some beauty supplies,

I wanted a nice dark lip for winter but was worried that it wouldn't suit me and I wouldn't like it, I wanted a dupe to mac's rebel lipstick and I found revlon's black cherry. Although its not matte like rebel is, I kind of like the fact that it moisturises my lips and the colour is really pigmented and I could tone it down or up depending on how am feeling.

Well what can i say about mac ruby roo except for am in love! because of my arab skin tone I couldn't find a red lipstick that suited until i found this beautiful retro matte lipstick! this colour makes me feel sexy, its one of those colours that brings life to my lips! 

lastly I got Chanel's coco mademoiselle eau de parfum, and the smell puts me in a trance, its quite a sweet smell but its perfect for me! sorry about my crusty nails, I was in a rush this morning and it wasn't happening for me.
